Prayer Ministry is so powerful!

I have been using the prayers below in ministry situations for many years, and am regularly giving copies away to people as powerful tools for their own hearts and for their families' lives. It is so important to get your heart healed and the roots dealt with. This peace and confidence before God is our birthright as His sons and daughters:

¹ See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! ... 1 John 3:1

¹⁹ This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: ²⁰ If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. ²¹ Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God ²² and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 1 John 3:19-22

These prayers teach us HOW to Love with the Love we have freely received. I have watched so many countless testimonies unfold of how these prayers have literally changed the courses of situations where people were feeling hopeless and alone with the weight of the world on their shoulders, but the Father used these prayers to introduce them to new depths of freedom and peace in His Grace for their lives.

Forgiveness Prayer

Forgiveness Prayer Lord, I forgive _____________________________.

Lord, I give You permission to take the judgment and bitterness out of my life. I do not want this in my life. I surrender it to You and ask You to remove it, to heal me where I have been wounded, and to forgive me where I have sinned. I choose not to blame or hold the actions of others against them. I hereby surrender my right to be paid back for my loss, by the one who has wounded me, or who has sinned against me. In so doing I declare my trust in God, alone, as the Righteous Judge. Father God, bless them in every way.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Cleansing Prayer(First picture yourself under a waterfall)“Lord, place me under the waterfall of Your Love. Wash me with Your refreshing waters. Wash away all the burden-bearing, attachments, transferences, defilements and retaliation. Wash it all away and refresh me with Your Love. Father, I give this person or situation (all of it – every piece and every part) to You. You are the answer, Lord. You are the greater One. (Declare your faith in Him, waiting on Him, and then continue) Now, Father, only give back to me what You have called me to carry…even if that is nothing, this is fine with me.”(It is very important to “spell out” what you mean by giving the person or situation back to the Lord)

Confess my sin (and my ancestor’s sin [if appropriate]) of believing the lie that ____________.

I forgive those who have contributed to my forming this ungodly belief. (Be specific) I ask You, Lord, to forgive me for receiving this ungodly belief for living my life based on it, and for any way I have judged others because of it. I receive Your forgiveness. On the basis of Your forgiveness, Lord, I choose to forgive myself for believing this lie. I renounce and break my agreement with this ungodly belief.
